Anna Branco Francisco, 91, longtime resident of Waterbury, CT and Palm Springs, FL died peacefully April 7th, 2025, in Austell, GA. She was the widow of Sebastian V. Francisco. Anna was born November 22, 1933, in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Izauro Rodrigues Branco and Amalia Santos Branco. Anna is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Philip and Carolyn Francisco of Groton, MA and David and Carmin Francisco of Mableton, GA; brother Francis Branco of Waterbury; five grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She worked at Madeline Roberts Travel Agency (Waterbury) for over 4 decades, first as an employee and later as the owner-operator and President. Anna was also deeply involved in the Portuguese community and church in Waterbury, CT. She was one of the founding members of Our Lady of Fátima Church, the Portuguese Ladies Auxiliary, and the Ladies of the Rosary, all in Waterbury.
ARRANGEMENTS-A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Waterbury. Everyone is asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home of Naugatuck has been entrusted with the arrangements.
