It is with profound sadness that the family of Dolores Ann (Heston) Burnop shares the news of her unexpected passing at Saint Mary's Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family, on November 10, 2025. She was the widow of Kenneth W. Burnop.
Left to cherish her memory and honor his legacy are her children, Robert and Brandon Burnop, her longtime companion, Ralph "Buzz" Devino, of Middlebury, as well as her sister, Shirley Lacey of Waterbury, her 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, including Bridget Heston Carnemolla, who was like a daughter to Dolores.
Funeral services for Dolores will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. Relatives and friends may visit with Dolores' family on Friday morning at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St., Waterbury, CT 06705, from 8:30 a.m. until leaving for the service at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
