Edith Mcfarlin Obituary

EDITH M. (ARNOLD) MCFARLIN
Naugatuck-Edith M. (Arnold) McFarlin, 77, beloved wife of the late Dennis J. McFarlin, Sr., passed away in the comfort of her home on August 10, 2025.
Born in Waterbury, CT on August 5, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Edith (Emmons) Arnold. Edith graduated from the Kaynor Tech as a student of the Fashion Department and went on to work multiple factory jobs before focusing on life as a homemaker. A longtime resident of Naugatuck, Edith could be found in her yard taking pride and joy in her yard and flower beds. When not outside enjoying nature Edith enjoyed watching a variety of sci-fi and horror films as well as reality shows.
Edith was predeceased by her son Dennis McFarlin, Jr, as well as her sister Jean Chapman and brother Raymond "Joe" Arnold, Jr. She leaves her family to cherish her memory; son Daniel McFarlin, wife Catherine and children of Naugatuck; daughter Denise Savoy, her husband Dennis of Ruskin, FL.; son Dean McFarlin, his partner Amanda Ney and beloved granddaughter Meadow of Watertown, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their dearest gratitude to Naugatuck Valley Memorial for their unwavering support and assistance in this very trying year.
