Kevin E. Eustace
Kevin E. Eustace, 65, of Prospect, passed away peacefully while embraced in the love of his family on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Waterbury Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Kevin was the loving husband of Kimberly (VanKirk) Eustace for 32 years and devoted father of Sean, Ryan, and Heather. Born in Waterbury on June 5, 1959, Kevin was a son of the late John and Evelyn (Montagnon) (Eustace) Kane.
Over the past 40 years, Kevin built a respected reputation in the industrial maintenance field, rising through the ranks from Equipment Operator to Operations Manager. Known for his hard work, reliability, and sincerity, he formed many lasting friendships along the way. The connections he made were genuine and enduring.
On a beautiful day, Kevin could often be found outside-splitting wood or tending his garden. His fresh vegetables lasted well into the fall, and the firewood he prepared will continue to warm the home for years to come.
Family meant everything to Kevin. His children were his greatest pride and joy; he celebrated their accomplishments and cherished every moment spent with them. A loving husband, devoted father, loyal brother, caring uncle, and true friend-Kevin was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish his love and memory beside his wife Kimberly are Kevin's son Sean (Taylor) of South Windsor, daughter Heather (Peter) Tournas of Southington and brother Barry (Mary Ann) Eustace of Thomaston. He is also survived by his stepsisters Bette (Robert) Kane of MA, Mary (Bobby) Kane-Donofrio of Bethlehem, and Eileen (Sal) Longo of ME. Kevin also leaves his sisters in law: Karen (Dave) Wagner of Burlington, Kristen (Daniel) Turgeon of AZ, and Karolyn (Brent) Griswell of KY and several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Kevin is predeceased by his son Ryan Eustace, his brothers Harry and John Eustace and his parents.
