Ms. Loretta (Willette) Tompkins, 85 of Wolcott entered into the Gates of Heaven on Sunday September 28, 2025 in the comfort of her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Loretta was born November 2, 1939 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Lawrence and Julia (Gorman) Willette. She was raised in Cheshire and graduated from Cheshire High School Class of 1957. She lived and raised her family in Wolcott for most of her life. She worked at General Data Com in Waterbury and Naugatuck until her retirement. She loved spending time with her family especially her great grandson, Danny. She enjoyed trips to the casino with "The Gamble Girls".
Loretta is survived by; two sons, Michael L. Tompkins and his wife Liz and Ronald Tompkins and Catharine D'Vileskis all of Wolcott; a sister, Irene Fernandez of Waterbury; three grandchildren, Jordan Tompkins (Darin Offerdahl), Ronnie Tompkins (Nicole Crowe), and Alexandra Earnshaw; two great grandchildren, Danny Gillis and Amelia Tompkins; and her nieces "The Gamble Girls". She was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond and Lawrence Willette, a sister, Joan Gamble and her former husband, Ronald W.Tompkins.
Arrangements: A graveside service will be held Thursday October 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at New Pine Grove Cemetery 850 Meriden Road Waterbury. Anyone attending is asked to meet directly at the cemetery. At Loretta's request there are no calling hours. Chase Parkway Memorial, The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury has been entrusted with Loretta's arrangements.
