Marie A. (Licese) Dichele, 92, formerly of Waterbury, entered the gates of Heaven following a long illness on Monday, September, 8, 2025 at Beacon Brook Health Center in Naugatuck. She was the beloved wife of 41 years to the late Richard M. "Dick" Dichele who passed away in 1999.
Marie was born on February 11, 1933 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Domenic and Antoinette (Mastrianni) Licese. Marie dedicated more than 30 years as a lunch aid in the cafeteria at Crosby High School and Wallace Middle School in Waterbury. She was deeply committed to the well-being of the students she served ensuring that every child had a hot meal and felt cared for. To all who knew her, Marie will be remembered for her kindness, her devotion to family, and her unwavering love for her sons, whom she adored.
Marie leaves her two cherished sons, Jeffrey M. Dichele and his wife, Joan, of Mendon, MA, and Gregory Dichele and his wife, Cheryl, of Wolcott, her three loving grandchildren, Emily Hilliard and her husband, Josh, of Wallingford, CT, Mickey Dichele of Wolcott and Paxton Dichele of Los Angeles, CA, her devoted brother, Joseph Licese of Waterbury, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Patrick Licese.
Arrangements: A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Chase Parkway Memorial, The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. A calling hour will be held Saturday morning from, 9:00 a.m. till the time of the service at the funeral home.
