Michael Molon Obituary

Michael Molon
Torrington - Michael L. Molon, 74, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at his home.
Michael was born in Torrington on June 7, 1950, son of the late Leon and Dorothy (Tucker) Molon, and had been a California resident for 20+ years before moving back to Harwinton with his family. He was a retired machinist with Albea Manufacturing, Thomaston. Michael enjoyed motorcycles, Harleys in particular, dirt biking, and camping. He was a wonderful father and loved to spend countless hours on BMX and trail riding tracks, soccer fields, and basketball courts; always there to support his two boys as they grew up. He was a great storyteller and had a wonderful sense of humor. Michael was always willing to lend a helping hand and was an all-around good guy.
Survivors include a son, Alex Molon of Harwinton; his caring former wife, Jane Molon, of Harwinton; a special brother-in-law, Dick Crovo of Plymouth; and best friends Mike Mcallister and Paul Balzar, both of CA. Michael was predeceased by his son, Benjamin Molon.
Services will be held Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Friends may call Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
