Torrington- Milton D. Hall, 83, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.
Mr. Hall was born in Torrington on June 18, 1942, son of the late Clark and Lettie (Thayer) Hall, and had been a lifelong area resident. He was an Oliver Wolcott Technical School graduate and was a retired UPS driver, retiring with 30 years of service. Mr. Hall was active in Advent Christian Church, Torrington, where he served as a Deacon. He enjoyed taking trips to Florida, playing cards, watching the Red Sox, John Wayne films, and most of all, spending time with his kids and grandkids. In his younger years, he enjoyed going camping and spending time outdoors. Mr. Hall loved listening to music, mostly Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, and Willie Nelson. He was especially fond of listening to his grandsons each playing their favorite instruments: David Teti on guitar and Ashton Tyler on trumpet. Mr. Hall was always there to share a piece of advice, whether it be driving tips or words to live by, including short sayings such as "work smart, not hard". He will be remembered for his great love of people and time spent sharing with them.
Survivors include three children, Laura Hall, Jennifer Teti and her husband, Peter, and Matthew Hall and his wife, Vivian; two stepchildren, Bernadette Tyler, her husband Mike, and their child, Ashton, and Renee Lessard, her husband, Luc, and their children, Lucas, Matthew, Adam, and Joshua; grandchildren, Shawn Hendrix, Kayla Larimore and her husband, Charlie, Rachel Silano and her husband, Nicholas, Caroline Renzullo and her husband, Anthony, David Teti, Sarah Hall, Ryan Hall, Tiana Hall, and LiAnn Hall; great-grandchildren, Addalyn and Anna; a brother, Bruce Hall and his wife, Gail; close friends and companions in CT and FL, including Johanna Buckley and her children, and Donato Pesce; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Hall was predeceased by his grandson, Gregory M. Teti; wife, Annie Hall; former wife, Cynthia Krieger; and siblings, Cleo Hall, Jay Hall, Jane Campi, and Katherine Hall.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 11:00a.m. at Advent Christian Church, 217 New Harwinton Rd., Torrington. Burial will be private. Friends may call Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00a.m., directly at Church.
