WATERTOWN - Monica Brouillard, 58, of Watertown, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 10, 2025, at her home.
Monica was born January 31, 1967, in Waterbury, a daughter to the late Marcel and Mildred (Thomas) Brouillard. A longtime resident of Watertown, Monica attended Watertown Public schools and held many positions in the greater Waterbury area; most recently serving as a receptionist at The Foot Care Group. She raised her family for many years in Thomaston. Monica was known for her kind heart, contagious laughter, and always volunteering to cook for a function. Her time was most valuably spent with friends and family, and vacationing to Ocean City, MD and Snug Harbor, RI.
She is survived by her son, Brian Stanley, and wife, Lauren (Pellegrine) of Tolland; her daughter, Brooke Stanley of Thomaston, her partner of many years, Richard Stanley of Thomaston, and her grandchildren, Theodore and Calvin Stanley. Monica is also survived by her siblings, Maureen Martin, and husband, John, Michelle O'Brien-Brouillard, Marcy Marticello and husband, Jamie, Marcel Brouillard and wife, Maria, and Mindy Baldwin and husband, Chris, as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends she considered family.
Her family would like to extend their gratitude to the cardiac care team at St. Mary's Hospital for their care and dedication.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2025, at Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, 515 S. Main St., Waterbury. Those who wish to attend are asked to meet directly at church. Friends are invited to call Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 3-5 p.m. at Hickcox Funeral Home, 195 Main St., Watertown.
