Robert E. Suckley
Robert E. Suckley SR "Sarge", 83, Born August 23rd, 1941, passed away peacefully March 13th, 2025.
Robert leaves behind his wife Loreen Suckley, Gizmo (his predeceased loving pup), his children, Janet and Bob Gagnon, Robert Jr (Ribbit) and Kerrie, Chet and Terri and Ray and Heather. Known as "Papa Suck" to his grandchildren, Lynn, Brett, Kaitlin, Chad, Erika and Daniel and his great-grandchildren, Chase, Layne and Rhett. Robert also leaves many friends that were like family.
Robert was a long-time resident of Thomaston. He also served Honorably in the United States Army, he worked for the State of CT DOT as a mechanic for many years, he also worked at Over Head Door for years as well.
Robert was a lifetime member of the Fish and Game in Thomaston and loved spending the day with his kids and grandkids at the Annual Fishing Derby every year and was a member of the American Legion.
Robert loved driving around in his convertibles smoking his cigars with his silly hats on, stopping to grab a bite to eat with friends or scratching lottery tickets.
Robert was VERY loved and will Truly be missed. Memorial Contributions can be made in his name to the Thomaston Fish & Game Fishing Derby, 730 Old Northfield Rd., Thomaston, CT 06787
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday May 3rd, 2025, at the Thomaston Fish & Game at 1:00 p.m.

Bob was the older brother, I didn´t have I grew up on Litchfield st. Bob lived 2 houses north on the other side of street I worked @ Bobs Sunoco during & after high school Also worked with him @ overhead door We had many good times @ the gas station Bob taught me auto mechanics He was very, very good to me, I will never forget him.
