Vincent Anthony Mainella, also known as Vinnie (70 years old), of Litchfield, CT, and Jensen Beach, FL, passed away suddenly and peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at 03:44 AM on Wednesday, 12/31/2025.
He was born 12/21/1955, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, CT, to parents, Marie Priscilla Mainella (maiden: Fallible) and Domenic Alexander Mainella. While earning his pharmacy degree at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, he met the love of his life, Christine Ann Dumais, and was wed in 1980.
Vinnie ascended professional roles quickly. Going from pharmacy manager, to district manager, Vice President and ultimately Chief Officer of Operations. Along the way. He partnered and pioneered the development of next generation pharmacy dispensing systems. He also modeled and developed affordable medication programs that served those in need. He and Christine spent his retirement at their farm in Litchfield and wintered in Florida.
Vincent is survived by his father, Domenic, wife, Christine, children, Anthony, Paul, Gregory, 5 grandchildren, sister, Renee, and brother, Domenic. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie.
His accomplishments range from putting himself through college by starting SOUND TOWN in Torrington, CT, to marrying the woman of his dreams, seeing his children through military school and college. All this while achieving professional heights unparalleled by others.
Vincent's hobbies included skiing, golfing, traveling and spending time doing anything with or for family and friends. His love was an immeasurable force that is eternally felt by those blessed to have known him. He found himself centered by faith and acts of kindness, compassion and generosity. He was a soft-spoken man with a sense of humor rivaled by his loyalty, intelligence and integrity.

I was fortunate to be a be a neighbor of Vinnie and his family for many years. We shared many good times. I enjoyed every minute I spent with him. To know Vinnie improved my life. He will be missed. Our thoughts are with Vinnie and his family.

Vinnie was my neighbor in FL.
I will remember fondly his big boisterous laugh heard from across the street.
Vinnie would dutifully and faithfully take his dad Dominic to Catholic Church at St Martin de Porres every week. He will always be remembered
