Alan was a great friend of mine. We spent many times visiting on his way to the coffee machine. And then I made visits to his home when he was unable to get around. We could spend hours talking about anything and everything. No mater how bad he felt, he was always cheerful for a visit. I miss my dear friend and look forward to meeting again in Heaven.
To Linda, Sarah and Adam and family, I send my deep regrets to you. You will miss your dear one for a time. May the Lord wrap His arms around you and give you comfort and peace.

Bereavement is so personal that few of us can comprehend its grief. Alan loved all of us and was loved by all for his kindness and compassion. He was a continuous inspiration. He will be missed by many. May the Lord walk beside you to lesson the sorrow you all bear. We love you Linda and family.
