Alan was such an awesome man. You could tell Alan anything and he would never tell anyone about what was just said between the both of u. He was a wonderful friend and I will be missing Alan a lot. I'm glad u have no more pain anymore Alan but I will be missing u a lot and always be smiling and laughing about the time we had when u were here. Goodbye Alan, I love u Al ??

I am still in disbelief as I have always seen Alan as a father figure, some one I could confide in and obtain some harsh truth. A great man with lots of love and lots of tough love to spread around. Alan, my heart broke and tears fell from my eyes when I heard you left this realm. I have a flood of memories good and indifferent to reflect on when I miss your laughter or your stern voice.. I may not have never told you how much you shaped my life... Thank you for blessing me with your friendship Alan. Ma, I love you dearly and really want you to transition through this loss gracefully. My thoughts are with you Joel, Aaron, Fawn, Jesse, and Heather. The impact of losing a father hurts terribly, but it does get easier over time. I love you all... Take care of each other.
