Alicia "Alice" Pardo

Roby, TX

Alicia Martinez "Alice" Pardo, 57, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014, near Clairmont, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00p.m. Friday, June 13, 2014, at the Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following at Roby Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.

Born October 4, 1956, in Sinton, Texas, Alicia was the daughter of Manuel and Mary (Martinez) Pardo. She was raised in the Rio Grande Valley, until her family moved to Levelland, where she completed her education. Alicia lived in Hamlin for many years, where she worked as a housekeeper at Hamlin Memorial Hospital. In 2013, she retired and moved to Roby. In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to music, visiting with friends, fishing, and going to the lake.

Alicia is preceded in death by her father, Manuel Villareal Pardo, and her grandmother, Guadalupe Villareal Pardo.

She is survived by her twin sister, Dora Pesina (Michael) of McCaulley; her mother, Mary Pardo, of Harlingen; her sister, Yolanda Dabila (Ramero) of Harlingen; her brothers, Domingo Pardo (Olga) of Mertzon, Rito Pardo (Rachel) of Levelland, Gustavo Pardo (Rebecca) of Mertzon, and Javier Pardo (Griselda) of Harlingen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
