Judge Burnett inspired me as an attorney, and more importantly, as a fine man. Throughout my childhood and adult life he continually showed interest and offered help. During my law school and years of practice he was always available and we eventually got to visit as members of the judiciary. Bobby D. was an important part of my life and the lives of so many. I took pride in knowing him and wanted him to be proud of me. He has always been a part of my family's life and we will all miss him. We have lost a dear and sweet giant of a man.
