Abilene - Cleta Mae Ramby,83, was called home by the Lord on January 17, 2021 after a lengthy battle with Dementia. She had been under the devoted care of the nurses and staff at Wisteria Place in Abilene for several years and was also attended to by Kindred Hospice in her final days.

Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home 5701 Hwy. 277 S. in Abilene with Pastor Mike Woodard officiating. Burial will follow in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories. A visitation will precede services on Friday beginning at 12:30 PM until the time of service.

Cleta was born on July 7, 1937 in Mart, TX to Clifford and Corenne (LaFoy) Isbell. She later moved to Snyder, TX with her family and graduated from Snyder High School in 1957.

After graduation, she moved to Abilene to attend Draughn's Business College. There she met her future husband Rob Ramby. She and Rob were married on December 13, 1958 and spent 41 years happily married until he left this life on February 22, 2000.

Cleta spent many happy years with her husband and family at 4138 South 20th in Abilene Texas. She took good care of her children, Jason and Denise, and focused on their activities. She worked for 34 years with her husband Rob in their successful Real Estate business and later worked in a staff position at McMurry University. In her retirement she worked at Sears Methodist providing loving care for the residents there. Sears Methodist would later become Wisteria Place, where she became a resident. Cleta was a member of Southwest Park Baptist Church; she loved all the ladies in her Sunday school class and the church music.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rob, and parents.

Cleta is survived by her son, Jason Ramby and wife Jennifer of Plano; grandson Austin Ramby of Ft. Worth; and Kyndall Ramby of Plano; her daughter, Sara Denise Dunnwald and husband William; grandsons Dylan and Jack Dunnwald all of San Clemente, CA.; her brothers Edwin Isbell of Wharton TX; Mike Isbell of Taylor, TX; George Isbell of Lubbock, TX and their families.

She was loved and will be missed by many
