George Washington Pruser, Jr.

Winters

George Washington Pruser, Jr., 87, of Winters, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017. He was born September 8, 1930 in Winters and was a lifelong resident. George served in the Korean Conflict. He married Margaret Minzenmayer on January 23, 1951 at St. John's Lutheran Church. She preceded him in death on November 11, 2016. He was a farmer and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by 2 children, Howard Pruser and wife Jacalyn of Winters and Laurie Pruser Stockman of Austin; 1 brother, Robert "Bob" Pruser of Winters; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Winters Funeral Home on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 6:00PM. Funeral service will be 10:00AM, Friday December 29, 2017 at St. John's Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery directed by Winters Funeral Home.
