Kenneth baker

Munday - Kenneth Henry Baker, age 90, of Munday, TX passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020. Kenneth was born August 4, 1930 to Pitzer and Marie Baker. He graduated from Munday High School and Texas A&M with a degree in Animal Husbandry. Kenneth married Joy Lemley on April 4, 1956. They were married 64 years. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea and Japan. He returned to Munday in 1955 and started farmingin Haskell and Throckmorton counties. A lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church, having served on the Board of Trustees, Administrative Board and other committees. Also served on the Munday City Council, the Munday School Board, Farmers Grain Cooperative, and a member of the Munday Lions Club receivinghis 55 year award in 2020. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Charles Baker, his sister in law BettyBaker, his daughter Kerri Urbanczyk and his grandson Jeffery Urbanczyk. He is survived by his wife Joy Baker; one son Chris Baker and wife Melissa; son in law Mike Urbanczyk; grandchildren Brian Urbanczyk, Steven Urbanczyk, Matthew Baker, Lauren Brett Baker and Jack Baker; great grandchildren Aaryn Urbanczyk, Charli Urbanczyk, Oliver Urbanczyk and Davis Urbanczyk. Also, a host of other family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 11AM, Saturday, January 2, 2020 at Johnson Memorial Cemetery with Cody Dykes officiating under the direction of McCauley-Smith Funeral Home.
