Laura Elizabeth "Beth" Faught passed away peacefully on January 10, 2018. She was born November 3, 1932 to Robert Lester and Mattie Leigh Gartman. Beth was married to the love of her life, Howard Faught. She was the best mother, wife, daughter and friend anyone could ever hope to know and she will be missed so much by all who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard, her brother Robert Gartman and her parents. She is survived by her children, Rick and Sarah Faught of Montgomery, Texas, Kim and Dennis Minks of Austin, Texas and her grandsons, Joel and Jake Redden of Austin and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home in Rotan from 4:00PM to 6:00PM, Friday, January 12, 2018. Graveside services will be held at the McCaulley cemetery at 11:00AM, Saturday, January 13, 2018 with a Celebration of Life to follow at the First Baptist Church in Roby, Texas.

I was privileged to know and care for Beth during the last year of her life. She was a sweet and gentle soul; never complaining, but always expressing thanks and appreciation for the care we gave her. She enriched my life by observing her patience in all situations. The love and devotion of her family was amazing. I was blessed to know all of you. May her sweet soul rest in peace; and may you be comforted by many happy memories of her.
