Louie Collins Obituary
winters
Louie Wayne Collins, 65, of Winters passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013 at a local hospital. He was born December 2, 1947 to Clarence and Lois Davis Collins in Spur, Texas and lived in Winters most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He married Christeen Barnes on October 15, 1971. He was owner operator of Collins Roustabout and Well Service for 23 years. He was a farmer and rancher and a devoted husband, dad and papa.
He is survived by his wife: Christeen Collins of Winters; 1 daughter Christy and husband Bob Lindley of Winters; 2 sons: Clarence "Bodie" and wife Stephanie Collins of Winters, Nathan Jim Collins of Winters; 9 grandchildren: Dillion, Kat, K'Lee, Slater, Kacie Grace, Lindley and Jaeggar, Cannon, Ashlyn, and Garrett Collins all of Winters
The family will receive friends at 5:00 P.M. Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the Winters Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 9:00 A.M. Monday, July 29, 2013 at Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of the Winters Funeral Home.
