Mildred A. Daigle Martin passed away in Abilene, Texas, on December 7, 2017.

Services were held December 13, 2017 in Magnolia, Texas, with burial in Pinehurst, Texas.

Mildred was born June 11, 1930, in Texas City to Sosthene Sam and Pauline M. Veillon Daigle.

Mildred married Roger T. Martin in 1952. She enjoyed oil painting, a wide variety of craft projects, sewing and gardening. She volunteered at St. Anne's Catholic Church and Tomball Regional Medical Center. She was a quiet and sweet spirit who will be greatly missed.

Mildred was predeceased by her husband in 2011. She is survived by children Tom (Susan) Martin, Abilene; Nanette Bebout, Nevada; Alice (Craig) Prince, Schertz; Jana (Douglas) Pierson, Pearland; grandchildren Andrea, Cody, Chad (Capri), Amy; and four great-granddaughters. Also surviving are two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family thanks Encompass Home Health, Chisholm Place, Wisteria Place and Hendrick Hospice Care for their care of Mildred. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
