Nada Whitfield, 89, of Winters passed Sunday, December 25, 2016. She was born December 28, 1927 in Bristow, Oklahoma where she grew up and graduated high school, She attended Baylor Nursing School in 1948 and worked as an R.N. in Winters. She married Bennie Whitfield on December 23, 1949 in Sweetwater. He preceded her in death in 1978. She later lived in Garland and returned to Winters in 2000. She was a Methodist.
She is survived by 3 sons: Dewey Whitfield and wife Kay of Winters, Ed Whitfield and wife Monnica of Rowlett and Chuck Whitfield and wife Laura of Richardson. 1 brother: Carl Tremble of Arkansas. 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: 1 brother: Glenn Tremble and 1 grandson: Greg Whitfield.
Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday December 27, 2016 at Wingate Cemetery directed by Winters Funeral Home.
