Nathaniel Way Obituary

Nathaniel Marcus Way

Abilene, TX

Nathaniel Marcus Way left this world March 4, 2014. Born June 16th 1990 in Fort Hood Texas He was a proud father, treasured son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend to many. Also known by his nickname "Clyde" by some, Nathan proudly served as a Combat Engineer 12B with the "Hooligans 2nd Platoon" in Iraq. He was a hero to many and he always said he wanted to "Change the World," and as his father I am writing this to tell you a little about my son because he did change mine. Nathan had a heart of gold, he gave the best hugs in the world and a smile that could brighten the darkest room. He was one of the greatest joys of my life. Nathan is survived by a precious son, Jaxon Edmund Way; Parents: Andrew & Grace Way of Clyde, Texas; Sister: Andi Morgan Campion and her husband Michael of Abilene, Texas; Brothers; Zachary Way of Clyde, Texas & Nixon & Joseph Urbanczyk of San Antonio, Texas; Too many cousins, family, and friends to mention them all, and a band of Hooligan brothers. Nathan always said that family is not always blood and although my son left this world far too early for us all we must remember how precious life is and remember all the wonderful times we shared with him. In lieu of flowers, cards, or any gesture of respect in his memory we ask that you simply do something kind for another person.

My Dear Way family, I had only known Nathan for a short time through the doctors office. I was so impressed by him and had told my family what a neat young man he was. Please know I share your heart aches.
