Pamela Acker Obituary

Pamela Acker

Abilene - Pamela Brown Acker, 63, our beloved Mother, wife, sister and best friend, was called to her eternal resting place on December 22, 2020, due to complications from COVID.

She entered this world on October 21, 1957 in Oklahoma City, OK, born to Lloyd and Patricia Brown, she moved to Abilene, Texas at the age of 8 and graduated from Cooper High School in 1975. She married David Acker in 1989. She was the General Manager of Sherwin Williams for 20 years and retired in 2010. She was such a lovely person inside and out. She taught many people how to be loving, patient, tolerant and kind. She saw potential in everyone and encouraged them to be the best they could be. In her spare time she loved to flip and remodel houses. She loved to bake, decorate, sew, paint, and build things. She could do any and everything!! And was always willing to help anyone with a project. She was a wonderful, caring mom, sister, grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her sons Justin Brown and Chris (Sheresa) Acker; spouse David Acker; sister Debra Brown Flores; she had numerous grandchildren and great grand children, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her longtime Best Friend Suzette Hodges, who has been a wonderful supportative and caring friend to Pamela and her family over the last 12 years!
