Graveside services for Paul Edwin Baccus, age 82, of Merkel, TX will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, TX.

Mr. Baccus passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX.

He was born on July 25, 1932 in Noodle Dome, TX the son of Carl and Ilene Smith Baccus. Paul joined and served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955.

He is survived by his five daughters, Binky Romeo and husband John of Lehigh, FL, Cindy Rhoton and husband Don of Cape Coral, FL, Mandy Dunagan of Odessa, TX, Shelly Cates and husband Hank of Argyle, TX and Paula Baccus of Flower Mound, TX; and son, Scotty Baccus and wife Amanda of Hutto, TX, 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Paul is also survived by two brothers, Troy Baccus and wife Kelly of Ft. Worth, TX and Larry Beasley and wife Pam of Bangs, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Coy, Wayne and Kenneth Baccus.
