Jeanne Reinwand Obituary

Jeanne P. Reinwand 66, died suddenly Nov. 21, 2009, in an auto accident in Island Park near Last Chance.
Jeanne was born June 4, 1943, in Salt Lake City, the daughter of George E. and Nina Hershberger Paradis. She grew up in the Boulder, Mont., area, where she attended school.
She married Jack Reinwand on June 16, 1961, in Boulder. The marriage was later solemnized in the LDS temple. They moved to Parker in the early 1970 where they built their home and have since resided.
Jeanne worked at Ricks College, later Brigham Young University-Idaho, for several years as a secretary. She also spoke Russian. She enjoyed birds, the outdoors, wildflowers and art, along with spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Jack of Parker; children Adam, Seth, Noah, Sarah, Jacob and Isaac; two siblings, Ann Seleskar and Ronnie Tuss; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Jonah and Joshua, and a brother, Jonny Paradis.
Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the Parker LDS church with Bishop Doug Hanks officiating. Cremation arrangements were handled under the direction of the Bidwell Funeral Home in St. Anthony.

I can't believe it has been 10 years It seems like yesterday.

Jack and family: The last time I saw Jeanne was when Adam was a baby. We grew up in Boulder, were a week apart in age and shared a number of times together. When we were five-years-old our mothers put on a joint birthday party and invited most the children of Boulder. We were on the front page of the Monitor and I still have a rag tattered copy of that picture. My brother called me today to tell me that he had just read of her untimely death. I am so sorry for all of you. From her obituary it sounds as if she lead a very active and full life and that she is leaving behind a long legacy of achievments and, of course, a loving and caring family. When I ponder my childhood days, Jeanne is usually at the forefront of my thoughts. May you find some comfort, in this very difficult time, in knowing that others are thinking of you and praying for you. Most sincerely, Sarah Rieder Tudor

I feel very honored to have been Jeanne's sister-in-law for the last 25 years. I looked forward to our vacation every summer. I know that Jeanne's children and grandchildren were the center of her life. She always entertained me with the stories of the adventures she and Jack had. I don't know how she did it all! Jeanne had an endless knowledge of everything from antiques to household tips. I will always remember her excitement over her beautiful wildflower garden. I still can't believe that she was taken from us so suddenly. My prayers go out to Jack and all the kids and grandkids. She loved you so very much. All my love Aunt Cindy
