Kay Davies Obituary

Kay Tamara King Davies, 53, of Idaho Falls, passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Tamara was born April 7, 1960, in Porterville, Calif., to LeRoy and LaRae Pickett King. She was the fourth of four children.
She attended elementary school in California, Hawaii and Massachusetts. She was a graduate from Madison High School and Ricks College in Rexburg.
On Aug. 30, 1978, she married Bryan M. Birch in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. She married Val D Davies on July 17, 1999, in Ridgecrest, Calif.
She served as a Girl Scout leader for many years. She was a natural born thespian - loving the spotlight on center stage, having participated in more than 20 theatrical productions. She loved music, singing, and poetry.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her children, Katie (Neal) Rogers and David Birch, of Saratoga Springs, Utah; Sarah (Jonathan) Jorgenson, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Rebeccah (John) Hazel, of Ridgecrest, Calif.; and Hannah (Adam) Skousan, of Lehi, Utah; a brother, Christopher King; and a sister, Laurel Dalling. She was loved and blessed by her eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Mary Katherine King.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Flamm Funeral Home, 61 North 1st East, in Rexburg. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to services. Interment will be in the Plano Cemetery.
