Mark Long Obituary
Mark loved his country and served honorably in the National Guard.
He met the love of his life, Laurie Rich, at Ricks College on the ballroom dance team. They were married on Dec. 19, 1980.
He coached little league baseball and women's softball for his community. He was an avid golfer and outdoor enthusiast.
Mark supported the community at the Long Health Center as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine for 31 years touching lives and helping a countless number of people.
Mark is survived by his spouse, Laurie Rich Long, and children Jessica (Bryan) Robbins, Marcine (Troy) Purser, Mark Cody (Emma) Long, Colten (Cassie) Long, Tristan (Reef) Brague, as well as his 10 wonderful grandchildren and his father Verl P. Long and his siblings Verl T Long, Margaretta Spencer and Karin Traughber. Mark joins his mother Audrey Long, his sister Suzanne Saling and daughter Jaymi Long returning to our Heavenly Father.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the St. Anthony, 3rd Ward LDS chapel. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary (581 E. First N.) and on Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the Church. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.flammfh.com.

Mark always made me laugh. He was such a character. The Longs were such wonderful neighbors to the Mortensens. Scott has great memories. We are so sad to hear of his passing. He was a good man and helped so many people. God bless you all. Cami and Scott Mortensen

Pat & I are so SAD !!! We love Mark!!! He has healed us so many times!!! He was not only our doctor but our friend as well. He LOVED his cute wife & kids & Grandkids so much!!!!
