Its been over a month now and I believe your mom put it best when she said, "It's becoming real now." Your gone and its real.
All these things I want to tell you, yet the words aren't about anything in particular. The words I will never get a chance to say are forever going to be a lump in my throat.
Missing you BIG time!
~Much love.

My sister Andrea lived for words like these...

to win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection and captivation of children;
to earn the trust of honest people and learn to trust in others;
to appreciate and marvel in the beauty that surrounds you;
to find the best in others and allow them to bring out the best in you;
to give of one’s self with selfless love;
to leave the world a better place, to have played and sprinted in the sunshine;
to have endured the darkest valleys before ascending the tallest mountains.
To share the journey, to fill a room with character and laughter, exciting dreams and inspire expeditions to far flung destinations.
To sing like no one is listening and to dance like no one is watching;
to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
Such is a life that Andrea lived.

God Bless Andrea. In a short time you touched our hearts, and shattered them upon hearing of your passing. We will never forget the sunshine you brought to our lives after the death of Iman, and the comfort you gave to Funmi. To know you was to love you, craddle Iman in your arms, and watch over his little brother.

Rest in Peace

I too remember Andrea's gorgous smile...and she had it all the way back to an infant! I raised little Andrea, and both her brothers, in my home daycare here in Reno. The last time I saw her in person was a few years ago at her own father's funeral here...and even then she had a big beaming smile, as always! She sent me cards every year, keeping in contact, and always with a wonderful cheerful note in them...I will miss her too! I know her place is now with the angels, as she was here on earth. My prayers and thoughts to Liz, and her brothers, and to all her friends also.

If ever there was a dazzling, contagious smile, it was Andrea's..
If ever there was a tender, caring heart, it was Andrea's.
If ever there was a radiant, amazing personality, it was Andrea's.
If ever there was a loyal, devoted friend, it was Andrea.
And, if ever there was an Angel amoung us, it was Andrea.
God's speed dear Andrea, until we meet again in God's Heaven.

Andrea was such a beautiful person. She always had a smile, warm eyes, and a kind word to offer. She was such a beautiful gift from God and there are no words to trully describe the kindness and love her soul carried wherever she went. My prayers go out to her family and I pray I will see her big, beautiful eyes and that glowing smile again. Rest in peace Andrea.
