Angiolena Bisagno Obituary
Angiolena Bisagno, a lifelong resident of Nevada, passed away on April 2, 2015, at the age of 100. She grew up on her family ranch in Cherry Creek, Nevada. After attending the Normal School at the the University of Nevada, she taught grades 1-8 in one-room schools in rural Nevada, before her marriage to John Bisagno of Reno. She later worked for many years at the Nevada Department of Employment Security.
Angie was devoted to her family. She is survived by her daughter Linda Burge, grandson Greg Burge (Ani), great-granddaughter Ruby Burge, and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Rudy, Rosie. and William and all the staff of Corinthian Place for their kindness and care during her last years.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to CARE Chest of Sierra Nevada, 7910 N. Virginia, Reno 89509.
Memorial services will be held at Walton's Funeral Home, 875 W. 2nd St., Reno Nv on April 9, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
