Barbara Jane Hauck

October 24, 1968

September 13, 2011

Barbara was born in Los Angeles, Ca and passed away after a brave fight with cancer in Reno, Nevada. Barbara graduated from University of Cincinnati in 1994

Survivors include partner, Marlene Fogel; mother, Rita J. Hauck nee Greve; sister, Catherine L. Hughes nee Hauck; nieces, Sarah A. Hughes and Olivia M. Hughes; nephews, Nicholas P. Hughes and Benjamin P. Hughes; two kids she loved as her own, Morgan and Jesse Bonney; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Barb's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. We will remember Barb as a vibrant and selfless spirit that loved people from all walks of life.

Services will be held at 12:30, Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 11000 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249

"I will miss Barb so very much! She was such a kind and loving person that was a true friend. I am saddened by her passing but know that she is in a better place with no more pain. I will have the many memories to hold onto and many photos to look at to remind me of her loving spirit. I will be unable to make it to the service on 9/24, but I will be there in spirit to honor such a good friend!" Love and miss you Barb! Always in my heart, Deb and Ed

I never had the privilege of meeting Barb, but I have learned so much about her from our dear friend Jamie. I wish I could have met her and talked to her, because we share the same cancer, but now she's in a better place and won't have to suffer anymore. R.I.P. Barb, I will meet you at another time in heaven.

Barb was one of the greatest people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She was a great friend, co worker, and a wonderful person inside and out. She was so proud of her family and the people she surrounded herself with. My heart goes out to her family and all the people she has blessed along the way. Gangster B as we know her at work will always be in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
