Bruce K. Kent

On April 1, 2021, Bruce K. Kent unexpectedly passed away at his home in Stillwater, Nevada. He was born on May 26, 1945. He was raised and graduated in Fallon, Nevada. He attended one year of college at UNR and enlisted in the Army where he was stationed at Ft. Leonard. On February 5, 1966, he married the love of his life Jamie Bray. In their 55 years of marriage they raised two daughters Staley and Tami on their family ranch. He was a cattle rancher and an avid hunter all his life. He especially loved chucker hunting with his many dogs.

He is survived by his wife Jamie Kent, daughters Staley Kent and Tami Schultz (Damian); grandchildren, Tyler and Skyler Word and Eberle Schultz. He is preceded in death by his parents Nina and Hammy Kent and brother Gary Kent.

Services will be held at The Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Churchill County Cemetery. A Gathering for family and friends to be held back at The Gardens.(Parking in the field next to Funeral Home)

Donations may be made in Bruce's memory to Churchill County 4-H or Churchill Volunteer Fire Department 20 N. Carson Street Fallon, NV 89406

Arrangements are under the direction of The Gardens Funeral Home 2949 Austin Highway Fallon, NV 775-423-8928

Bruce is certainly going to be missed. My last memory of him was riding his John Deere down the road scraping the weeds alongside the road day before he passed. We will definitely miss seeing him riding his horses and pushing his cattle up the road. Jamie we are truly sorry 20 loss of your beloved Bruce. David and Laura Lee
