Camden Solari Obituary

Camden D. Solari

Feb. 13, 1946

May 8, 2015

Camden D. Solari, age 69, entered the presence of his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 8, 2015. He died peacefully, at home with his beloved family by his side. Cam was a native Nevadan, the son of Albert and Barbara (Davis) Solari. He was raised in Reno and graduated from Our Lady of Snows Elementary School and Manogue High School. He attended the University of Nevada, Reno and was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Cam worked for the family business, Solari and Sons Inc. for many years and was part owner of Sierra Elevator. He later became a commercial realtor and was involved in Skyline Development with his dad, Albert Solari and the Nash Family. Family, friends and the community held special meaning for Cam. While there were many wonderful moments in his life, he savored the time spent at Lake Tahoe and Little Lake surrounded by loved ones. His thoughtfulness, kindness, humor and his memorable "one liners" will never be forgotten.

Cam is survived by his wife Flora (Centolella) Solari, his daughters; Gina Solari, Nicole Sterling (Mike), Cami Riddell (Andy), and Cayla Solari, his grandchildren; Madison and Makenzy Sterling, Averie and Zoey Riddell, his sister, Gail (Solari) Cavakis (Gary), brothers-in-law; Ralph Centolella (Kathy), Mario Centolella; nieces, nephews and cousins.

James 1:2-4, reads "consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." Cam persevered for many years maintaining his faith and love for family and friends. It is now his time to be with his Lord and other loved ones, experiencing complete peace.

"It is not the years in your life that count, it is the life in your years."

In respect for Cam's wishes, the family is having a private celebration in his memory.

Missing you dad, especially in these times. You always had a way of making us laugh, and helping to keep thing light. You taught us not to take life to seriously, and to have faith because things will work out in the end. Hope you are living your best life up there in Heaven! Love you!
