Carolyn Buley Obituary
BULEY
Carolyn Faye Buley, 68, of Reno, NV passed away on July 13, 2009. Carolyn was born on July 12, 1941, in Shawnee, OK to Alvin and Millie Louise Easley.
Carolyn was very active with Trap Shooting Gun Clubs for over 45 years associated with Harold's Gun Club, California Indians, Spanish Springs, PITA State Shoots and ATA State Shoots and in 2000 she was inducted into the Nevada Trap Shooters Hall of Fame.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert (Bud) Buley of Reno; daughters, Renae Thorson (Don) of Reno and Cheryl Child of Reno; niece, Lisa Mitchell (Galen) of Reno; grandsons, Michael Carr of Reno, Christopher Rytting of Chico, CA, Daniel Thorson of Reno and Harold Child of Reno and one great- granddaughter, Michaela Carr of Reno. Carolyn is preceded by her father, Alvin Easley; mother, Millie Louise Benson; brother, Gary Easley and sister, Joann Turner.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2009, from 1 - 4 p.m at Sage Hill Gun Club, 7370 Desert Way, Reno, NV 89511. Please call 775-851- 1123 for directions. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Nevada Trap Shooters Hall of Fame, 7565 Vista View Dr, Reno, NV 89506 in Carolyn Buley's name. Arrangements are under the direction of Walton Funeral Home in Reno.
