Daniel Arrate Obituary

Daniel Noel Arrate, a lifetime Nevadan, passed away after a sudden illness at the age of 71 on June 19, 2010.
He was born to Basque immigrants Julian and Pura (Osa) Arrate, on December 25, 1938 in Ogden, UT. He married Sandee Clement and had two children, Rick and Anna. He later married Susie Coy Wilford in 1985.
In his spare time, Daniel enjoyed camping and fishing with family and friends. Cooking was always his greatest passion. Daniel's career spanned over 55 years with barbering being the one he always went back to.
Daniel is survived by his loving, beautiful wife Susie, sons Rick, Wade (Margaret), Darren (Alison), daughter Anna (Kirk), 7 grandsons, 5 granddaughters, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Julie Plaza.
A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Snows on June 29, 2010 at 2 p.m. A funeral will be held in Winnemucca at St. Paul's Catholic Church on June 30th at 2:30. Interment will be at Winnemucca City Cemetery.
