March 2020 ... thank you for posting the remembrance on this first anniversary of Dinny's passing. My sister and I just last week were reflecting on when we were all young and how we miss knowing Dinny still here . He will always be remembered by so many.

Dear Scotty and the family of Dinny, We are so sad to hear of Dinny's passing and extend our deepest condolences to all of you. We have such good memories of getting together when Dinny and Scotty came to town (Reno), for the St. Patrick's Day festivities. Dinny surely could keep us entertained with his stories and we enjoyed it so much! Dinny was also a friend to my mom, dad and uncle. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed. We send much love and prayers during this difficult time. ~ Cherie and Henk

I worked with Dinny at the Gaming Control Board and partied him and his lovely wife Scotty at many Celtic Society events. He had a wonderful gift for songs and storytelling. He was one of the BEST!

Always loved Dinny. Every time I saw him I called him coach which he loved. He was my coach at Saint Thomas Aquinas in Reno when we were in the eighth grade. That was the first time I met him. He was a fine man from a fine family. Through the years I stayed in contact with the Healy family. I always enjoyed my time with Dinny wether it was Sons of Erin, Notre Dame vs USC football and many others. He will be missed along with his dad Denny Sr.

I remember Dennis his family lived across street! I loved the Healy family and my prayers are with each and everyone during this painful and hurting part of life!! I could share many stories and memories of being a little girl and Dinny taking time to sit and talk with me! Even listening to me sing!! Telling me I should consider country music!! Lol I took him seriously but I couldn't sing!! I was 3 month old when we moved on Denslowe St. Our house was directly in front of the Healy's step outside that's what we saw!! Dinny you will be missed truly love Reginia McKinney!!
