My freshman year in High School at Hug Coach was my civics teacher. I wanted to play football and my parents wouldn't sign the form so I was quite upset. Coach Johnson after class asked what the problem was and I told him. Coach said "I'd like you on my tennis team." I told him I will play tennis when you buy me a brand new racket. The next day he handed me a new racket and said "see you at 4". That was Coach... He became not only a he
Real coach but great friend and mentor off of the court.. It has been several years since I had seen Coach and Pat but I thought about him often. He will always be a very big part of my life. He taught me courage and alway told me, "dynamite comes in small packages." He nicknamed me Dynamite.

An EXCELLENT teacher and coach I had at Clayton Junior High School and at Hug High School. Great classroom style and what a sense of humor. I can only hope I was half the teacher Frank was.

What a wonderful Grandfather!!! Frank and Pat would travel to Spring Creek, NV every year for our birthdays. They always livened up the party. Grandpa was an amazing athlete and I enjoyed listening to his football stories. I Love You Grandpa!!!
