Jason Mastroianni Obituary
Reno - Jason Richard Mastroianni passed away unexpectedly on January 10, 2021 in Reno, Nevada.
Jason was born May 10, 1975 at St. Mary's Hospital in Reno, Nevada.
He attended local schools and was in the gifted and talented program. He was a Cub Scout and a Boy Scout, earning many badges. He was very artistic, drawing, painting and making artwork out of everyday items. He loved music and was a talented musician, playing several instruments, his favorite being the bass guitar. He enjoyed playing chess, biking, skateboarding and cooking.
Jason is survived by his Mother Nancy Mastroianni (Darcy), Father Joe Mastroianni (Judie), Brother Chris Mastroianni, Brother Alex Mastroianni (Patty), Sister Lisa Bender (Rich), Son Julian Burns, Daughter Avriel Burns (Sean), Granddaughters Rowan and Violet, Aunt Janet Reichenbach, Uncle Neil Johnston, Uncle David Johnston ( Karie), numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and longtime companion Catherine Newhams.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 Monday, January 25th at Walton's Funeral Home Sierra Chapel, 875 W. Second St., Reno with private burial to follow.
