Jeffrey Sweeney Obituary
Jeff was born on August 10, 1955 in Wausau, WI to Ben and Ardis Sweeney. He went to be with his Heavenly Father on November 2, 2013 surrounded by loved ones after a long hard fought battle with cancer. Jeff graduated from Hoover High School in Fresno, CA, settling into the Sparks area in 1981. Jeff worked for Nevada Tractor prior to joining Cashman Equipment in 1988. The largest portion of Jeff's Cashman career was spent in machine sales where he was considered among the best at what he did. Jeff was a humorous person who loved to entertain and make people laugh. His hobbies included golf, travel, fishing, vintage cars, carpentry and spending time with his family. Jeff is preceded in death by his father Ben Sweeney. He is survived by his mother, Ardis Sweeney, his wife, Candice, his daughters, Michelle, Brenda, Joele (Tom), Jamie (Todd), his son, Mathew, his sister, Linda (Bob), his brothers Steve (Rosemary) and Ron as well as 4 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Jeff had a big heart that was always open to everyone and we will miss his smile and infectious laugh. Services will be held November 12, 2013 at 11:00am at Sparks Christian Fellowship.
