Today, while looking through some old photographs I came across a photo of Jeff and I attending an Aikido camp back in 1981. I looked at the photo and said to myself, it's time that I try and reconnect with Jeff again. Unfortunately when I searched the Internet I found his obituary. Jeff and I attended UCSB together and participated in Aikido and Judo in Goleta. During our time at university he was the go-to person when you needed your shoulder massaged or a shoulder to cry on; he was there always when you needed help and he never asked for anything in return. I'm sorry I let our friendship slip away. My condolences to his mother, Myrna, who I remember fondly, especially when I use to ride my bicycle from Santa Barbara to their home in San Fernando for their annual UCLA USC football game party. The first thing Jeff's father, Sylvan would do after I had been on my bike the entire night, was fix me a stiff drink! What a beautiful family. My deepest condolences go to Jeff's brother Scott, his wife Cindy Scripps and the rest of the extended family.

Jeff was a very special friend since we met during internship. He was like a big brother to me. He loved life, always wanted to have fun & was a great friend. He will be missed by the medical community. My family and I will always hold him in our hearts.
