George, Robert, Joel, and Nancy;
Although Joyce is gone, memories of her influence in my family's life will live on. I enjoyed her sense of humor even when I rebelled as a piano student. I still remember the way she would greet my wife and me as we entered the Institute as members of the University Ward (before we married). I really thought she was one of the most special people I have ever known. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Well, Dee, im sure you are having a great time. Mom said that it was a wonderful place when she briefly visited almost 63 yers ago. Such a fine example you are to guide us through till we meet again. I sure am grateful that you are my "big" sis. Does this mean that Raggedy Ann and Andy are still waiting in the drawer?
I ve got a lot to live up to.

Dear Woodward family,

After hearing the passing of Sister Woodward, my heart and memories turn to the years of influential joy and love that she has given to all she came in contact with. I remember Sis. Woodward ALWAYS having a perpetual smile on her face, and a voice of happiness and laughter as she spoke to all. Her happiness was always infectious.

What a cherished woman she is!

All my love,

Dear George and Family, I was so saddened today to hear about Joyce's passing. I had her on my mind all last week and was going to call and see when I could make her beautiful again. I'm sorry I didn't listen to that prompting. I feel so sad, but am grateful for the friendship that we had and the stories she would share, and the challenges she had with her health , but always seemed to pull through. It was her Faith in her Savior that kept her going. Such a marveleous example she was for me and a lot of people. I pray for you, that there will be comfort for you. Thank God that we know our purpose here on Earth, and that it's not the end.
Our love to all of you,
Jack and Laura Laramie

Our family get-togethers just won't be the same. We will all miss Joyce so much. She was such a dear friend, and we always thought it was neat that we had the same name. We considered ourselves "kindred spirits." May the Lord comfort you in your sorrow.

We are sorry for the loss of Aunt Joyce and regret we lived so far away that we have not had contact with her in recent years. Keep the faith and know that she knew Jesus Christ and because of this she will live forever and look forward to her joyous reunion with each of you when it is time.
