To Julia's family, friends, students and all who's lives she touched,

We have been friends for 30 years and it is truely hard to say goodbye. I have enjoyed reading everyone's entries in her guest book and it fills my heart to know that everyone loved her as much as I did. Though she is no longer gracing our presents I have no doubt in my mind that she is smiling down upon everyone she knew and has on a silly pair of shoes. I will cherish all my memories of growing up together, the birthday parties, slumber parties, rollerskating, playing in the ditch, and so many more. My heart and prayers especially go out to Brent, Anne, Joan and Carl. I will see you again Jules - All my love

I was lucky enough to have Julia not only as a roommate but as a friend. She has always been a great listener and gave great advice. I will miss her immensely but am happy with the knowledge that she is out of pain and with Heavenly Father. She has always been a good example and I am grateful for having known her.

Julia was one of my first friends. She knew who she was so early. Through the years and different choices we made in life, she was constant. She inspired me to try things - painting my dining room table or discover something special in an old film. There is a hole in my heart since I read Brent's email. I, too, assumed I had many more years to sit on the phone like junior high school girls talking about the wonder of a SuperTarget or importance of Austen.

There was something special about Julia. Whether the goofy title subject lines of her emails or the thoughtfulness in the blanket she made for my oldest daughter, she was unique. Who else owned lime green shoes - and could carry it off!

I truly believe that she was pure of heart. I wish her family peace. We were all blessed to have known her.

I loved her and I miss her very much.

Julia and I were roommates at BYU. She was always so funny and I will remember her being "The Queen of Everything". Thinking of her makes me smile. I am glad to have been in contact with her over the last few years, but regret I never got to talk to her there at the end. I guess in vain I thought we had more time with her. Brent, you are in our prayers.

It broke my heart to hear of her passing from one of my friends. Mrs. Nuttall was so full of life, so happy and always showed off all of her favorite shoes to us in class =). Thanks to her I pushed myself more at school. I always looked forward to her class.
There was one day I came to class in my bubblegum pink ballet slippers and she became so excited when she saw them. Asking her why, she didn't say anything but stepped out from behind her desk and pointed to her own feet. She was wearing the same shoes! We laughed and she made me a little jealous by saying she had them in 2 other colors.
Mrs. Nuttall is a great woman, a magnificent teacher and a wonderful friend. I will miss her deeply and my condolences to her family.

Julia, was a great friend of mine since Junior High. I have been remembering some of the fun that we had in high school. I am so glad that I got to meet her husband Brent, at our high school reunion. He is such a nice guy and I am so sorry for his loss and that of their families. My only regret is not keeping in better touch. I spoke with her in August and had such a fun conversation. I wish so much I would've called her back and not but it of until tomorrow. As they say don't but off till tomorrow what should be done today. I know that I will miss her elegance and her radiant smile.

I was a student of Mrs. Nuttal this year, i was in her government class. This being my senior year was very tough, but she always pushed us hard so that we would make it to graduation. It breaks my heart to know that she didin't make it to graduation because i know how much she was looking foward to it. I admire how tough she was, even though she was in pain she was still there to teach us and to guide us. At graduation she will be in our thoughts and heats we will miss her..

I remember the day I graduated looking out into the crowd and seeing Miss Larsen's face. She had moved on to bigger and better before I had graduated but her memory was never forgotten in West Wendover High School. She brought so much culture and life into her classroom and I think that is one thing she gave to all of her students. I am saddened to hear of this loss. But she will never be forgotten in our hearts or in our memories.

Julia taught our daughter Anna and son Sam at West Wendover. We and they remember her fondly. She was a wonderfully sweet woman and we delighted in her acquaintance. We rember she came all the way back from Reno just to attend our daughter's graduation. That kind of commitment is very hard to find. Partly because of her our daughter went on to study linguistics at Hebrew University. Our best to Julia family and she is in our prayers tonight.

Mrs. Nuttall, she was my favorite teacher at Hug High. My best friend and I had her as a teacher all four years, first as an English substitute and then the last three years as our French teacher. She used to tell me I had a great mind, and great potential but that I just needed the push to achieve my greatness. She was an awesome woman, always happy-go-lucky and always "not looking" when we really needed her to be a friend and not a teacher. She was the greatest! I just wish I had come back to see her, to tell her life's going great for me but now it's too late and all I can think to really tell her is simply. Thank You. Thank you for being there when I needed someone to talk to, or just someone to tell me that I really meant something to the world.

Thank You Mrs. Nuttall, for everything you've ever done for me, whether it be willing or subconsciously.

Julia,
Its funny how life has taken us to so many different places. The funny part is we started together at Highland. You began your journey and I began my search. I remember your strong beliefs carried you all the way and all those books (which I used as shelves for the most part.) You were never caught without a smile, style and grace and I know the Lord found your beautiful face just the same way when you came to Heaven. We love you, we miss you, we will see you again my dear!

Julia was my friend. We had a lot in common, music, shoes, and books. It seems like just yesterday when I took her husband's place at a concert where we got to relive our teen years. I will never be able to read the Count of Monte Cristo or Persuasion again without thinking of her. I love the fact that when you walked into her home, she had her shoes right there, and books. She will be missed.

I had Julia as a French teacher my junior and senior years, 2002-2003, and 2003-2004, at Hug High School. She was a great inspiration for me to continue onto college. I remember one time sitting in her class and I made up a word She jokingly said that she would make sure I'd have to retake English if I kept using the word, though I don't even remember the word. I also remember visiting her a few months back and it made me sad to see her having to get chemotherapy. She is a teacher I will always remember, playing a huge role in my choice to go to college. Julia will surely be missed.
