Kristin Siddall Obituary

Kristin Siddall

Reno - 2/22/1971 to 9/14/2019

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beautiful "Flower Child." We called her our flower child because of her passion for gardening. As a child, Kristin was always digging in the dirt and picking flowers. She had a gift for growing flowers, creating gardens and designing landscapes. She won several awards in Reno for her landscape designs.

Kristin lit up a room with her big smile and sweet song-like voice. Those who knew her best were captured by her kind, caring and generous ways. But she could be a tough competitor when playing her favorite game, Jeopardy.

Kristin graduated from McQueen High School where she played on the girls' basketball and volleyball teams. She competed on the school ski team and was a first chair violinist.

She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a degree in Special Education. She spent several years working with special needs children at Hug High School and in Las Vegas.

Kristin then went on to complete special training at Texas A & M in Environmental Management. She traveled around the country doing UXO work for government contractors.

Kristin is lovingly remembered by her parents, Chuck & Marlene Siddall, sister Tawnya Kirk, a niece and nephews and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

There will be a private family gathering at a later date. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery beside her grandparents and her great grandparents.

Remembrances can be sent in Kristin's name to May Arboretum, Att: Bill Carlos, 1595 N. Sierra St, Reno, NV 89503.

I apologize for the belated condolences. I consider my short time with Kristin to be a blessing from God. I am so saddened to see that a true angel sent by God is now back with her fellow angels above. My heartfelt condolences to her family. Kirstin will be deeply missed.

Oh... Miss Siddal!!! You were my student teacher for Special Needs Children at Galena High School! Your beautiful sister, Tawnya, set us up to meet..... she knew it was the perfect fit!! We had HUGE fun times working together! You and my assistant, Mrs. Mahlin, became great friends! The 3 of us tore it up in the classroom and out!! We laughed, cried, and knew the meaning of friendship!! I'll never forget you! Cindy Hurd

Kristin or Kristi as some of us knew her was always upbeat and tried to make things better. She didn't always succeed but she tried which is more than most ever do. We have suffered a great loss in her passing. I will forever morn her with everything I have in me she deserved better.

My deepest condolences to Chuck, Marlene, Tawnya and all the friends and family who had the joy to know this genuine and kind-hearted soul, Kristin. She was fun, confident and wonderfully unique. Anyone who met her felt comforted by her warm, spirited personality and her beautiful smile. I knew her as a teenager in Reno and an adult in Vegas. She was always the same sweet person with just more accomplishments (which she never mentioned).

Kristin was certainly a flower child and one amazing woman. I can only hope that some comfort finds its way to the Siddall family and all others who had the privilege to know Kristin. You are all in my heart.

I'm so sorry to hear this news. My best childhood memories were in the Siddall house on Grandview. Kristin was not only totally unique, she was one of the funniest and most giving people I've ever known and her friends worshipped her. Thinking of you all.
