Lori Laughlin Obituary

On Oct. 2, 2010 Lori Laughlin passed away quietly at her home.
As members of Sparks Christian Fellowship, both David and Lori enjoyed services and fellowshipping with dear member friends. She was a member of the Gap Prayer Ministry and participated in various homeless outreach programs with David.
Lori enjoyed camping in the Plumas Pines area with her family, traveling and spending time with friends and spent most Saturday mornings golfing with her husband of 32 years. But the greatest joy by far was time spent with her new granddaughter Rylie.
Lori was employed by Lifetouch Portrait Studios for 11 years starting as the Receptionist working in different areas advancing in the company to Fleet Manager. After a Lifetouch relocation in 1986, Lori decided to stay in Reno and she and David had their daughter Kelli. In 1989 she sought a position with Wirtz Beverage Reno where she worked in the Receivables Department until relocating to Las Vegas in 1991 with her family. She continued to work with Wirtz Beverage in various positions until 2005 when she returned to Reno and was again employed by Wirtz Beverage Reno (great company) as the Fine Wine Purchasing Agent for Northern Nevada.
Lori is survived by her husband David, daughter Kelli (Rodriguez), son-in-law AJ and granddaughter Rylie, parents Keith and Kathy Skinner, brother Chris Skinner, nieces Ashlee and Erica Maldonado, brother-in- law Michael Laughlin, sister-in-law Alice Laughlin, nephew-in-law Bill Page, wife Jackie, daughter Ally and son Rees, nephew-in- law Matthew Laughlin, daughter Phaele, son Nathan. She is preceded in death by her brother Russell Skinner, sister Terri Maldonado and brother-in-law George Maldonado.
Services to be held at Sparks Christian Fellowship on Greenbrae Dr. in Sparks on October 9, 2010 at 2 p.m. The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity would be appreciated.
