Lynn Schiller Obituary

Lynn E. Schiller

Lynn passed away peacefully at Renown on October 23rd due to complications from COPD. Her husband, Len, of 46 years, was at her side until the end. Lynnie, as she liked to be called, had a rich and fulfilling life. After a rewarding career with the original AT&T as a mid-level manager, she took early retirement to enjoy the fruits of her long career. Len also took early retirement. Lynnie and her hubby cruised the world, seeing sites many people only dream to see. Unfortunately, years of smoking finally caught up with her.

Lynnie was preceeded in death by her parents, Howard a Shirley Steege. She is survived by her husband, Len Schiller; sisters Julie (Schiffke) and Ed Taylor; Kathie (and Karl) Whitehead; nephews Chris and Dan Duvall, and Erik Schiffke; uncle Robert Steege, and many cousins.

Per Lynnie's request, there will be no services. Her cremation will be handled by Northern Nevada Memorial Services. Her ashes will be scattered at a place and date to be determined.

In lieu of any flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Rest in peace my dear wife. No more breathing problems; no more panic attacks; no more pain; no more falls; no more hospitalizations. You were my life. I will forever love you & miss you.

Lynnie was my oldest sister; 8 years older to be exact. To me,growing up, she was this beautiful, popular, talented big sister who I adored.! Being shy I was an observer of both my sisters' lives.
I will always choose to remember Lynnie as vibrant; full of piss and vinegar (she would have used that word). Too many memories to describe.... Wonderful memories of her and you, "Lenny Davy" as well...

So sorry to learn of Lynnie's passing. Lynnie and I worked together for many years. She was one of the most thoughtful and considerate people I ever worked with. A really true and honest leader.

Our Lord will surly welcome Lynnie into His kingdom.

My sincere condolences to your family. May God "who comforts us in all our trials" (2 Cor 1:4) comfort you and your family at such a difficult time. I know God will help you to endure because he cares for you (1Peter 5 :7).
