In Loving Memory of Maria C. Baires

Born on October 8, 1918 in Berlin, El Salvador. Maria lived in San Francisco from 1946 to 2002, where she became a U.S. citizen. She was a Reno resident from 2002 to 2008; then moved back to her homeland. She passed in El Salvador on August 31, 2017.

Maria was the youngest of 14 siblings. She enjoyed all aspects of sports and even played basketball in her local league as a teenager. Living in San Francisco, she was of course a 49er fan. Her last years in Reno, she loved her play time with her first great-grand child Alyssa.

She is survived by her daughter Irene Q. White (Dennis Slack), her grandchildren David M. White & Cindy M. Barnard (Bryan), great-grandchildren Alyssa, Ashlyn, & Abigail Barnard and Maddox & Kennedy White. Family and friends are invited to remembered her during mass held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Sunday, September 17th at the 10:30 mass.

A celebration of life will be held in her memory after mass at 3090 Show Jumper Ln. Reno, Nevada, 89521.
