Matthew B. Duncan 26, passed May, 19th in the evening in Las Vegas, Nevada. Matt was born November 11, 1990 in New York City, New York and graduated from Silver Stage High School, Class of 2009, in Silver Springs, Nevada. Matt worked as the Assistant Store Manager and the Reptile Department Manager at Sierra Aquatics for the past six years.
Matt had a passion for reptiles and exotic animals and has inspired hundreds to share the same love and bond that he had. Matt also enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, swimming, going on reptile adventures and hanging out with his friends.
He is survived by his mother and father Glenn and Connie Duncan, Grandmother Eunice Johnson, sister and brother in law, Jamie and Matt Retchloff and nephew Gabriel Retchloff.
Matt is known for his love of reptiles, his crazy antics, his willingness to help those in need and his patience and love when teaching others about their reptiles and other pets. Matt is loved by many and is already greatly missed.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Matt's life, will be held Wednesday June 7th from 1-4pm at Sierra Aquatics, 295 Kietzke Lane Reno, NV 89502. Friends may call 775-232-4894 the day prior from 9-5pm.

I am very sorry to hear this. Matt was always very friendly and helpful there at the pet store. He seemed to really enjoy being there. He had a smile every time I came in the door. I didn't know him personally, but he will be missed. My condolences to Matt's family and friends.

Wow, Sorry to hear Matt passes away. He was so awesome and kind at Sierra Aquatics. He was so knowledgeable and great with our Boy Scouts. It breaks my heart that such a young man passed way to early. Prayers for comfort to his friends and family. His presence will be missed.
