Michellene Smith Obituary

Our Beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, Michellene "Mish" Smith, 64, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2010, in Reno after a short illness. Mish was born September 6, 1945 in England. She was a loving, warm, caring, and strong woman who enjoyed being outdoors, especially camping with her family. She also enjoyed golf and fishing. Mish was deeply loved and will be missed by many.

Mish is survived by her husband, Harvey; her children Ken (Denise), Terri, Chris (Renee) and Kim; 12 grandchildren Matt, Liz, Ben, Joe, Shane, Nicole, Victoria, Kristen, Andrea, Corey, Holli, and Chris; 2 great grandchildren Nick and Kaiden, all of Sparks; and her mother Aldega Brown of Napa, CA. Mish was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Jo.

A Graveside service is scheduled for 11:30am, Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Fernley. Arrangements are under the direction of Walton Sparks Funeral Home, 1745 Sullivan Lane.

Harvey and family, I am so sorry for Mish's untimely passing. Not only was she a great customer, but a wonderful friend. I will miss her deeply. Please call on me if I can do anything for you.

My deepest deepest condolences to the family. Mish was a beautiful beautiful person who truly loved her family and she was very very loving & kind to others. I will always remember this years 4th of July camping trip. It was so much fun and Mish made it absolutely special. I will dearly miss her.
