Ray Robinson was a consulting geologist working with the staff of the Superior Oil Company Minerals Division in Reno in 1974 when I was a senior at UNR's Mackay School of Mines. Superior hired me to do the typing, filing, and copying, but I got the most benefit out of strolling into Ray's office and chatting him up about minerals exploration. He was an excellent mentor.
