Sandra Lee Hutchins

Sandra Lee Hutchins passed away on August 9, 2010 in Gardnerville, Nevada. Prior to her retirement from Ben's Fine Wine and Spirits as co-owner, she resided in Reno, Nevada, for forty years. Sandra was born January 17, 1937, in North Manchester, Indiana, to parents Clarence and Phyllis Westafer. Sandra is survived by husband L. "Hugh" Hutchins, of Genoa, Nevada. They engaged in the most loving marriage on July 3, 1969 in Virginia City, Nevada.
Sandra dedicated her life to her family and business. She touched the lives of many through her acts of kindness, She was forever giving support. advice, wisdom and thoughtfulness as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother. and employer. She was the elegant lady behind the doors at Ben's for more than thirty years. She will be dearly missed by all who were touched by her comfort.
She left on earth to carry her special traits, son and daughter in law, Jack and Kathy Rupley of North Manchester , Indiana, son, John Rupley, Palm Bay, Florida, daughter and son in law, Jennifer and Randy Roget, Valley Swings, California. step son and wife. Michael and Michele Hutchins. Missoula, Montana, and step daughter Cindy Hutchins, Reno, Nevada. Eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren were her most cherished.
Sandra left the request of her family ec have a private service among family members to spread her ashes among the angels. Sandra also requested that in lieu of flowers that donations be sent to the Alzheimer's Association Northern Nevada Chapter, 705 South Wells Avenue, Reno, Nevada 89502-0969.
